Our Story: A Cultural Bridge Brewed from Data, Heritage & Purpose

Kafiza was born from a personal journey — from the coffee-growing soul of Brazil to the specialty roaster scene of New Zealand. Founded by a Brazilian-born, New Zealand-based tech professional, Kafiza blends deep cultural knowledge with technical skills to solve a global challenge. In Brazil, coffee is more than a crop — it's a way of life. In New Zealand, roasters are hungry for quality and transparency, yet often lack access to authentic, traceable Brazilian beans. At the same time, most farmers in Brazil face barriers to reaching international buyers — language, technology, and a lack of visibility in the specialty market. Kafiza's mission is twofold: Globalize the reach of Brazilian coffee culture, beyond the commodity market. Empower farmers and educate roasters through transparent data, direct relationships, and cultural storytelling. More than a marketplace, Kafiza is a bridge of trust — where coffee connects people, cultures, and purpose.

Your Bridge Between Brazilian Coffee Heritage & New Zealand Market Access

Born and raised in Brazil's coffee heartland, I understand the deep cultural connection our farmers have with coffee. Now living in New Zealand, I've built strong relationships with specialty roasters who value authentic, traceable Brazilian beans.

My personal journey from Brazilian coffee culture to New Zealand's specialty coffee scene gives me unique insights into both worlds. I speak Portuguese fluently, maintain family connections in Brazil's coffee regions, and have direct access to New Zealand's growing specialty coffee market.

Unique Advantages:

• Native Portuguese speaker with deep cultural understanding • Family connections throughout Brazil's coffee regions • Direct relationships with NZ specialty roasters • Technical expertise to bridge language and technology barriers • Personal commitment to preserving coffee heritage

I'm not just a middleman — I'm a cultural bridge. My mission is to honor the hard work of Brazilian coffee farmers while connecting them to markets that truly value their craft.
